Samis Makes First Set of Emergent Needs Grants to State of Israel

| We stand steadfastly with the State of Israel as the country enters into war. The Samis Foundation board and staff are shocked and devastated by the wide-scale terrorist attacks that unfolded in Israel over this past holiday Shmini Azeret and Simchat Torah, and Shabbat, marking one of the darkest days in Israel’s history. We are horrified by the immense loss of Israeli life, thousands injured, and hundreds taken hostage, including women, children, and the elderly by the barbaric Hamas and Islamic Jihad terror organizations. We mourn with Israel and the global Jewish community. As a Foundation with a deep love for the Jewish people and the State of Israel, we are ready and able to deploy considerable resources in support of our Israeli brothers and sisters. We implore our local Jewish community, all communal organizations and individuals alike, to support the Jewish homeland.
