2026 SAMIS GRANTS
Aluma – $110,000
Northbound Success – Job placement and readiness for young adults and recruitment and retention support for employers in the North. Donate.
Bishvil HaMachar – $50,000
Journeys Program – Immersive 3-day retreats for soldiers and reservists to process war experiences addressing PTSD prevention and early detection. Donate.
Community Stress Prevention Center – $100,000
The Chai Project – School-based mental health services for children and families in the Galilee. Donate.
JDC – Eshel – $110,000
Reinforcement and Recovery for the Northern Elderly – Assist elderly returning to the North recover, adapt, and regain a sense of security. Connect residents to essential services, oversee home prep, distribute critical supplies. Donate.
Loewenstein Medical Center – $110,000
Rehabilitation Garden – Renovation of rehabilitation garden that integrates nature-based therapy into occupational treatment, promoting physical, mental, and emotional recovery. Donate.
Ogen – $120,000
Ogen for the Future for Reservists – Rights realization & legal support, employment & business mentorship, credit & financial solutions, and emotional & social support for reservists. Donate.
Public Forum for Youth Villages – $80,000
Resilience Program for Counselors in Boarding Schools – Emotional and mental resilience training for educational staff working with at-risk youth and development of intervention models for crisis management. Donate.
Sheatufim – $50,000
The Drawing Change Pooled Fund supports innovative, diverse projects that prevent intimate partner violence by turning research-based strategies into real-world solutions. Each project is accompanied by rigorous evaluation and measurement to ensure meaningful, measurable impact and a significant reduction in all forms of intimate partner violence. United we Stand: Strengthening Kibbutz Agriculture at Scale – Subsidize investment in essential agricultural equipment by agricultural cooperatives co-owned by 7 different kibbutzim in the western Negev. Donate.
Rotem Center for Mental Health in the Negev – $50,000
The Rotem Center, established in the Negev after October 7, provides vital trauma care in a natural setting for individuals, families, and communities affected by war and terror. A unique partnership between public and nonprofit institutions, the center offers specialized treatment programs, support groups, and professional training for those on the frontlines—including medical personnel, teachers, and emergency responders.
